Subject and Object Pronouns A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. (Ex: I, me, we, they, he, she, it, you, etc.) Subject pronoun: used in the subject of a sentence. It performs the action of the sentence. Ex: I went to the mall. They invited us to the birthday party. Object pronoun: used in the predicate of a sentence. It receives or is affected by the action of the sentence. Ex: Mrs. Jones told them to stop talking. My dog loves when I take him to the park. |
